DPiP 5th April Recap (3rd Birthday Blog)

LizDPiP Events, Event Lowdown

This month it was our 3rd Birthday and we celebrated in style with cake, pizza, super speakers and an amazing audience! Once again it was lovely to see so many faces and for all your support for both our meetup and speakers this month.

April Speakers DPiP 3rd Birthday Dean Datify Chris Vibrant Colour

After our delicious customised cupcakes were eaten, Dean from Datify (@Datifyuk) began by talking about Why You Need to Breed Creativity or Die Trying.

We loved his 5 minute brainstorming tips for idea generation and his advice on creating and reviewing ideas regularly to present fresh content.

Follow Dean on twitter at @deanlynn.

*Full details on Dean’s talk will be available soon*.

Our second speaker was Chris Smith from Vibrant Colour with a talk on The Power of Print in a Digital Age.

Talking about trees, printing processes and how print is used within modern marketing were among the topics including some superb advice about personalising your customer’s experience.

Find Chris on twitter @Vibrant_Colour.

*Full details on Chris’s talk will be available soon.*

Also thank you so much to Hannah (@bakesbyhannah) for providing our birthday cake and to Chris at Vibrant Colour for helping us create our fabulous new DPiP notebooks.
