DPiP 1st March Recap

LizDPiP Events, Event Lowdown

This month was super busy and it was great to see so many of you showing your support for our speakers this month!

Marc Scott from Coding2Learn and The Raspberry Pi Foundation started us off with a talk on Creating true digital natives including how we can get involved to help the next generation become digitally literate.

Find Marc on twitter @Coding2Learn.

After a short lightning talk from Lizzie from Datify we then heard from Jack Howell from Riselabs talk about VR products and how virtual reality technology is currently being used and what to expect from VR in the future.

For more info on the VR experience visit riselabs.co.uk/vr.

Follow Jack and the team on twitter at @riselabs_io or visit RiseLabs online at riselabs.co.uk.

If you’re interested in speaking and/or sponsoring a DPiP event, please get in touch with us.

Once again we’d like to thank all our sponsors for this month’s event plus Bewiched Coffee and The Eco Innovation Centre for their continued help and support this month!

We’re still on the hunt for main speakers in 2017 (and beyond) so if you have a topic you’d like covered or would like to do one then email us at hello@mydpip.com. To give you an idea of the subjects we have covered in the past and the ‘rules’ visit the speakers and talks page.
